A Safer Hampton Roads

Hampton SEAC member Jennifer Brown gave a very informative presentation on parent advocacy to a capacity-filled room at SEAC's November meeting. Unfortunately, the video files of her presentation were too large for us to upload here but we will continue to explore other ways to possibly make it available to the public.

Additionally, Lt. Scott Keller of the Hampton Police Division (HPD) and Hampton parent, Crystal Bethea, briefed on the recently launched HPD safety program, A Safer Hampton Roads, at that meeting.

Local media picked up on their briefing and later interviewed Lt. Keller and Ms. Bethea; read Ryan Murphy's interview for the Daily Press, and view Joe Fisher's interview for Wavy TV 10.

For more information, check out A Safer Hampton Roads' website and seriously consider enrolling vulnerable loved ones in this new safety program.
